EASTER PARADE

Today before anyone got up (okay not Happi who wakes up with the sun) I went out and hid Easter eggs in the backyard.  I remembered to count them to make sure they all get found.  The last thing I need is a dog or wild animal finding an Easter egg and tearing it open.  The eggs are full of candy.  The kid had a blast.  He had a hard time finding the yellow egg hidden in the lemon tree branches.

After the hunt was over and all the eggs were found, we proceeded to egg dying.   I am vegan and the kid does not eat eggs so I bought fake eggs that can be dyed.  We tried the vinegar type dye first but it didn't work too well so we used the dye that came with the eggs.  That worked really well.

After some food and a break, we headed out to a Easter street fair.  It was cute.  There were booths, We bought a twirly thing for the garden.  We looked at the animals in the petting zoo. There was a cute little Easter parade with an Easter Bunny.  Then we walked by the face painting booth and saw they do hair painting.  The kid wanted to get his hair painted blue and white.  So, we stood in line for an hour to get his hair painted.  Then it was too late to get food or do anything else but go home.

We had no special dinner because it was too late to go to the supermarket and we were supposed to go yesterday.  We did not.  We did not go today.  We have so little food.  Oh, well, it will all work out.

Until tomorrow...
