SWOLLEN LYMPH NODES CONFIRMED

Happy Halloween!

I went to the doctor today to get my arm checked out.  My left arm has been swollen (but not swollen visually) and has been hurting under the arm since five days after getting the first of two Shinrex shingles shots.  The doctor looked at it and pushed on it and determined what I had already surmised; it is a lymph node or lymph nodes that have gone haywire.  He said in simple terms that I got the shot which sent a bad thing into my body.  I am on a bunch of medicine.  My body saw it and went haywire thinking I have been invaded.  In normal people their white blood cells kill the invader and it is done.  My body went haywire and is looking for the culprit.  He says this may take upwards to 12 weeks to clear up.  I was unhappy to hear this because my brother is getting married in a month and in a little over a month I am supposed to get the boost second Shinrex shingles shot. I can't possibly get the second shot until this clears up.  He also shared with me that the second shot is going to be worse!  Lovely!  Something to look forward to for the holidays!

On the plus side, it will get better and it isn't something horrible. My body is doing what it is meant to do.  He thinks I should talk to my RA doctor and see about getting on the new RA medicine right away and see if it will clear this up sooner.  I was resistant to hearing that at first because my experience with adding another medicine has not always been so great.  I usually like to fix the current challenge before adding another challenge to the mix.  I don't know how I will react to the new medicine and I don't need to have a weird reaction right before my brother's wedding.  I have not had the experience with medicines.

The RA doctor's office called back and said the doctor wants to see me.  The only appointment he has is in late November.  Ugh.

I had some Trick-or-Treaters today.  Not as many as I wanted,  I have a bunch of candy leftover.

The body shop called today to tell me they made a mistake and they owe me $400!  Woo hoo!  That makes the two $500 deductibles hurt a bit less.

Until tomorrow...

HAPPI HAS AN INFECTION

For a few days now I have felt that something is wrong with Happi's stitches. They didn't look as perfect as they used to and there is a bump that didn't used to be there.  I called the vet and made an appointment.

Today we went to the vet. Happi really did not want to get in my car. I can't use her seat belt because of her stitches so I have to drive very carefully.

The vet said she has a very little topical infection on her stitches. He gave me some ointment to put on for a week. He said the bump was where the stitches had a knot.  He took her in the back and they cleaned up her stitches a bit so they weren't so raggedy. Her stitches are the kind that dissolve so they will disappear eventually.

Overall he said she looked great. He asked about her teeth chattering (better), UTI (better), energy (better), lip licking (better).  He was really happy to hear the good report.

This week it will be one month since her surgery. She is doing really good for an almost 14 year old dog.

Until tomorrow...

KABOCHA SQUASH SOUP

I finished my Kabocha Squash soup today.  I ran to the store and bought the coconut milk.  I heated the soup and added the coconut milk.  I took my immersion blender and voila!  I had soup.

It is SO good.  Delicious!  I had two cups.  Now I am so full.

Until tomorrow...

FORGAVE COSTCO

Today was the day I officially forgave Costco and went to shop for the first time.  It was weird going back to Costco after about two years.  It all looked the same but not the same.

I had my list and got my batteries. I found a flashlight and ended up buying a big one and three little ones.  Can't have enough flashlights in an earthquake zone.  I went to the meat section and bought a huge thing of chicken for Happi.  When I got home I separated them and put them in freezer bags and put them in the freezer.   I got my paper goods: toilet paper, paper towels, tissues.  I went to the canned goods and stocked up on black beans, olives and diced tomatoes. Then I walked up and down some aisles and found some stuff I really didn't need.  Isn't that the fun of Costco?!

I realized when I got home that I forgot to get quinoa so I will have to go back some time.  I like to get the big bag since I use it so much.

I feel better now that I have more working flashlights.  I needed the AAA batteries for something and now I can't remember what for.  Oh, well.

I finally made soup with the Kabocha squash that came in my veggie and fruit delivery.  I bought all the ingredients last week and was already to make the soup today.  I cut and roasted the Kabocha (no easy feat) and put it in the pot with the ginger and broth.  Then I realized I bought Cream de Coconut not Coconut Milk.  They are not the same thing.  I have to go back to the store tomorrow and get the milk.  Meanwhile I cooled the soup and put it in the refrigerator.  Tomorrow I will put in the milk and blend it to make it creamy.

Until tomorrow...

ROSIE THE RIVETER

Tonight was my neighbor's Halloween party.  I have been planning my costume for over a month.  This party is a big party and people have outrageous costumes.  They take more than a month to decorate their house.

I decided to go as Rosie the Riveter.  I already had the jeans and jean shirt.  I had the belt and loafers I saw them wearing in the photos.  I bought red socks, a red polka dot bandana, and a metal lunch pail.  I made the Rosie sign for the lunch pail and the circular badges for the collar of my shirt.

Here is a photo of come of the outfit.

My friend S came over and got ready with me.  We went to the party together and met some nice people.  The costumes were great.  People were dressed as characters from Game of Thrones, the a guy with balloons and basket like he was flying, a Catholic Cardinal, and all the characters of the Wizard of Oz twice.  There was another Rosie the Riveter but she was in short shorts and high heels.  Like a sexy Rosie.  Everyone said I look powerful.

A CLOSE FRIEND

Growing up I had a next door neighbor named Mrs H.  She is significantly older than me and my parents.  She could be my grandmother if she was related.  She has always been very special to me.  I used to climb over the fence to visit her and her husband and father before they both passed away.  She lived alone for many years.  When I was in college we moved away from that neighborhood but I always went to visit her.  She owned her own printing business and when I was little sometimes I would go to her business and she would pay me in business cards if I organized and cleaned out her stockroom.  I had a babysitting business and the business cards helped.

Then I moved away to the West Coast.  I try to remember to call her every couple of weeks and when I go back East I always stop to see her.  I send her presents and gift cards for holidays and birthdays.  A few years ago she sent me a precious gift: a very old Raggedy Ann and Andy book.  She used to read it to me when I was little and when I got older, I used to run away from my house to curl up on her couch and read it to myself.

This week I got a call that she was transported to an assisted living facility.  She is unable to live alone anymore.  She is 96 and has been deemed unable to care for herself without help.  I am sad and happy at the same time.  I know she needs the care but I know how much she wanted to stay in her home.  I know she will get the care she needs and deserves at this facility.

I have been sending her cards and when she gets a phone, I will call and see how she is doing.

Until tomorrow...

HANDYMAN IS DONE

Today the handyman finished his three days at my house. He tore out a wall in the garage to fix wood rot in the wall under my front stairs. Then he fixed the beams, put up new drywall and painted the wall.

Then he installed a new outside light in the backyard. The old one stopped getting brighter when the dogs went outside after all the rain this past year.

Then he did a few small things like move a door that had been sitting in my hallway to the garage.

He will be coming back to fix the cracks in my ceiling and to install the new shower head. My shower head broke and I had to order a new one. I turned on the shower one morning and the shower head went shooting across the shower.  Luckily I have a rain head shower also.

It is good to have this project finished. Stairs fixed, no longer leaking, wall fixed and no longer leaking.  With a skunk in the neighborhood it is great to have the new light installed.

Until tomorrow...

ANNIVERSARY OF THE BEIRUT BOMBING

This is the anniversary of the Beirut bombing. I was in my first semester of college. My good friend Sean that I grew up with was killed in that bombing. A few weeks before I mailed him a letter and more than a month after he died the letter came back "Unable To Deliver". He never go the letter and never knew I wrote to him.  Getting the letter back was devastating. It was such a horrible tragedy.

In other news: I got my car back.  It looks great.  I told the body shop that "it looks as good as new" and the guy said "it looks better than new."  The photos are not great but I was in a hurry.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

It is so shiny!  I am so happy to get her back.  I missed her.  I really didn't like that rental car.

ANT SAGA CONTINUES

I woke up this morning and there were 30-40 ants on the kitchen counter.  Yuck!

The Pest Guy showed up later in the morning and we got into the next door neighbor's yard.  We looked and looked but no ants.  Not an ant to be found.

We pulled out the dishwasher to see if there were ants under the dishwasher or evidence they were behind the built in cabinets.  Nothing.

The Pest Guy is stumped.  He can't figure out where they are coming from.   He left me with some ant bait killer.  I need to call him again when I figure it out.

My handyman came this afternoon and started to destroy my garage.  The wall that is under my stairs has wood rot and needs to have the wood replaced. To do that he has to tear out the drywall that the City made me put in for fire proofing and earthquake protection.  Then he has to put 2x4s on either side of the 4x4s that hold up the wall and stairs.  Then cut the 4x4s where the wood rot is located.  Then put a new piece of 4x4 in its place and secure it.  Then replace the drywall and paint it.  This will take three more days.

Still no word on my car.  I hope I hear something tomorrow.

I got good news about Happi from her doctor.  He got my report and he thinks she is doing great.  He wants her to keep going for a week or two more.  I have to add some Metamucil to her food.  She needs some fiber.  This is exciting news.

Until tomorrow...

ANOTHER TRY AT REMOVING THE ANTS

This morning my Pest Guy showed up to solve my ant problem but there was a small glitch.  My neighbor, in his panic to catch the bus, forgot to leave his gate unlocked.  He felt awful when I texted him to tell him.  The Pest Guy told me it happens more often than you think.

We made another appointment for tomorrow.  He is certain the ants are coming from the neighbor's yard and climbing up the side of my house and climbing in under my shingles.  He said he needs to spray and get rid of them.  I will be happy about that.  I have not seen any in two days but this has happened before where they disappear for a few days and then come back with a vengeance.

To make sure the neighbor remembers I set a scheduled text to go out in the morning and I am going to go outside just in case.  Happi wakes me up at 6 am so I am awake earlier than most of my neighbors.  Let's hope it works out tomorrow.

Until tomorrow...

SHOPPING AND SOUP

I went shopping for something to wear to my brother's wedding today. I didn't want to leave it to the last minute and my friend S said she could go with me today.  We went to Macy's and tried on every pair of black slacks in the store.  No luck.

Then we went to Nordstroms and a very nice sales person assisted us.  She gathered a bunch of clothes and I tried them all on.  I found a pair of slacks that I really liked but they were too long for the flats that I am wearing.  The sales person said she would call down for the tailor.  What?  A tailor!  I need to shop at these fancy stores more often.  The tailor showed up and pinned up my pants and said no charge.  What?  No charge!  I really need to start shopping at these fancy stores.  The hemmed pants will be ready in a week and they are going to ship them to my house for no charge!

I was lucky that I remembered to bring my shoes with me so I could get the correct hemming on the pants.

When I got home I made a delicious soup for dinner.  Cannellini Bean, Carrot and Kale Soup.  I only made it because I had Kale and Carrots delivered the other day and I didn't want them to go bad.  Oh, and I was hungry after a day of shopping.  I threw it all in the pot and made an awesome soup.

Until tomorrow...

GARDENER VISIT

The gardener came today and went to town on the backyard.  Since the weather had been nice and it has rained a few times, the vines have gone wild.  She cut them back but we talked about her coming back in a few weeks to cut them back even more for the winter.  If I could kill the vines, oh, I would.  They are a menace.  They take a lot of maintenance and harbor rats.

I watched Adrift in the evening.  I spent a bit of time trying to figure out what to watch.  I consulted my friends teenage son and he wanted me to watch A Ghost Story.  I found it too slow.  I will try again another day.  I started watching another movie but there was something wrong with the download.  Then I watched Adrift which was my first choice anyway.  It was good.  There is a twist I didn't see coming.

Until tomorrow...

FRUIT & VEGGIE DELIVERY AND CAR UPDATE

I got my veggie and fruit delivery last night.  I got broccoli, sweet potatoes, kale, apples, pears, cauliflower, potatoes, and kabocha squash.  I am going to make kabocha soup.  I will report back on how it turns out.

Another update on my car.  The body shop called and the part they were waiting for has arrived but it was not complete.  Part of the part was missing so they need to reorder.  Now they are saying the part will be in on Monday and they can install it on Tuesday.  They have finished all the painting.  I am so happy.

Until tomorrow...

ANTS AGAIN

For about a month now I have had ants in my kitchen.  If you have been reading this blog, you may remember my previous ant invasion.  It isn't a ton of ants, it is a few ants.  I would come into the kitchen in the morning and there would be about 10-15 ants on the counter in various places.  The searcher ants looking for food or water.  I blocked one place they were coming in and they found another place, then another, then another.

This morning I had it.  I called the Pest Control guy.  He had a cancellation and he came right over.  He looked here and there.  He assessed that the ants are coming in from the outside.  The outside is in my neighbor's yard.  Since my neighbor's yard is behind a locked gate, the pest guy was not able to check or spray.  He is coming back on Monday morning.  I can't wait to get rid of these critters.

Until tomorrow...

HAPPI GOING FOR LONG WALKS AGAIN

Happi walked around the block today.  I was surprised that she wanted to walk that far and that she could walk that far. I kept offering to carry her if she got tired but that just energizes her to walk further.  As my friend said she has nine lives and is such a strong dog.

I am super proud of her and how she is recovering from her surgery.  Although she sleeps a lot, she is bounding up steps and sometimes jumping up on the couch (against the rules) when I am not home.  It is hard for me to get angry since I almost lost her.

Every day with Happi is a gift.  I want to spend as much time with her as I can.

Until tomorrow...

UPDATE ON CAR

I got a call about my car today. Good news! My car will be ready on Monday possibly. They are having problems finding a part since my car is so old.  They think the part will arrive on Friday. It is the bar that goes under the bumper.

The best news is that they painted the whole passenger side of my car. Years ago when my house was under construction, I had to park my car on the street. One night some skateboarders rode by and scratched my car. Either they keyed it or some zipper on their clothing scraped it.  It wasn't big or deep.  It was just a long scrape that had irritated me for years.  Now it will be gone!  My passenger side will look brand new!

Until tomorrow...

SWOLLEN LYMPH NODES

Beginning last Thursday I felt a weird sensation under my arm on my left side. It is almost in my armpit. It feels swollen on my left side and sometimes it is painful. It feels more painful when I wear a bra.

I started checking the internet to see what it could be. The most reasonable thing was swollen lymph nodes. But why?

Today I called my doctor and he agreed with me that I most likely have swollen lymph nodes. Since this started five days after my Shinrex shot, it seems that I am probably having an autoimmune reaction to the shot.  I am supposed to give it another week and see if it gets better. If not I am supposed to go in and have the doctor check it out.

I am sure it will get better soon.

Update: Lucky seems cured from her tummy upset and will be going back to her dog walker again.

Until tomorrow...

SNEAKERS

Today I was babysitting my old dog walkers baby and while I was taking her for a walk I noticed my very old sneakers have finally given up. The bottom of the left shoe is cracked. I have been thinking for sometime that I need new sneakers but I have had a lot going on and sneakers sort fell to the bottom of the list of things to do.

Tonight I ordered a pair to be delivered by Tuesday. They are the same ones I currently have. They are specifically made for people with arthritis. They aren't flashy just functional.

I can't wait to get them. My feet have been needing them.

The babysitting went well. It assured me that I do not ever want a baby. I will watch a baby but I do not want one. There was no maternal instinct that came out when I had that cutie for 4 hours. I had fun entertaining her but happy to send her home.  Her parents tried to pay me but I said save it. I did it for the fun. They are moving to Portland in a month.

Until tomorrow...

CASSEROLE

My veggie and fruit delivery included butternut squash this time so I decided to make Butternut Squash Quinoa Casserole.

It is super good. Much better than I expected. I good use of the butternut squash.  It is better with salsa and avocado.

FISH TANK

For about a year I have had a fish in a fish tank. In mid-July my fish died.  It was right after my fall where I fractured my elbow so I was unable to clean out the tank. I took care of the fish but left the tank running so the water would not smell.

Then I had a car accident and another car accident. Then Happi had her surgery. I just could not find time or energy to clean out the fish tank.

Today I decided to clean and disassemble the tank.  No fish for the present so this meant I needed to clean all the plants, rocks and decorative items for storage.  It took about an hour but I have items drying that need to be stored in a day or so.

Until tomorrow...

PAIN UNDER ARM

This evening I started feeling a sharp pain under my left arm. It almost feels like under my arm is swollen. I walked down to get Happi's new medicine and during the walk it was annoying me when I swung my arm.

I am not sure what it is but it makes me suspect that it is five days after my Shinrex shot in that arm.

I have a rental car. I forgot to write it the other day. It feels so good to be able to drive if I need to. It is a white Hyundai Accent. It barely fits in my garage.

CAULIFLOWER CASHEW SOUP

I decided it was time to return to a normal life at our house.  Happi and Lucky seem to be getting better. Happi went for a longer walk and came upstairs to bark at me that she was hungry.

I made Cauliflower Cashew Soup for dinner. It was easier to make than I thought.  It is also super tasty.

HAPPI'S TUMOR IS BENIGN

I was downstairs giving Happi some loving and I missed the doctors phone call. I left my cellphone upstairs. I was even thinking I wonder if he is going to call while I am down here?

I checked my phone and there was a voicemail message. It said "Happi's tumor is benign and removing it is curative. Good news!"

I literally started to cry. I mean sob. My baby is going to be okay. I realize she is not going to live forever but I am just not ready to have her go yet. 2.5 weeks ago she was playing and lively. I just don't think this is her time.

I have the car accident to thank. If I had not gotten in the car accident, we never would have gone back to the SPCA to get her checked and gotten the x-rays. She never would have been put under sedation. She never would have had a bad reaction causing the vet to do x-rays of her abdomen. Then an ultrasound finding the tumor . Since the tumor was benign great but they can bleed so she could have eventually died of that. So I thank the car accident for finding the tumor.

I am just so happy right now. Now we have to work on getting her over the surgery. Today I took her on a short walk and she wanted to keep going. I had to drag her inside. The doctor said only short walks for the first week. I think she was happy to be out of the house.

My old dog walker called to see if I want to babysit her 4 month old. I jumped at the chance. A baby!! How fun.

Until tomorrow...

50/50 RULE

This morning Happi could not walk. It happened a couple of times over the weekend for just a few minutes but early this morning Happi woke up and went upstairs and I heard a crash and she was trying to run around but couldn't and started to cry/whine/scream. I ran upstairs to find her in the kitchen confused. I brought her downstairs and put her in her bed while I got ready. Happi hates to be carried but today she wanted to be.

I put her in my car. Yes, I am not supposed to be driving it but I could not wait for a taxi.  Plus I was supposed to be dropping it off at the body shop at 8 am.

They checked Happi out and she was fine. They changed her meds and the food she is eating. The feeling is that her stomach is so upset that it is effecting her ability to function.

She now takes Prilosec, sucrafate, flagyl and eats a special food that won't upset her stomach.

The doctor that saw Happi was not her normal doctor. He asked me if anyone told me the 50/50 rule. The 50/50 rule states that when a dog has a tumor in their spleen there is a 50/50 chance that it will be cancerous or benign.  If it is cancerous, the dog will have two months to live.

Ah, no. No one told me about the 50/50 rule. I am not sure I wanted to hear it now. My brain stopped functioning at this point.

After getting Happi squared away, I took my car in to the body shop. They organized my rental car. I have a white Hyundai Accent. It is bigger than I wanted because it is hard to get in and out of my garage. I have wheels again.

 I am staying positive.

Until tomorrow...

DOZING FROM SHINGLES SHOT

After yesterday's shingles shot, last night I could not keep my eyes open after 8 pm. During the night I kept waking up because I was super hot (probably feverish) or cold (chills). It was a long night. Some of which I slept with a sweatshirt on to keep warm.

Happi woke up at 4 am and went upstairs. Later on I checked my security camera and she jumped up on the couch to sleep. I guess she is healing pretty well.

Both dogs seem to be on the mend. I on the other hand felt super sluggish today. I pretty much stayed in bed all day watching TV and dozing. My arm is pink and sore.

Until tomorrow...

DOGGIE SICK HOUSE

After a rough night, Happi ate a good amount of food. Happi had a hard time sleeping. I think she was in a bit of pain. She was shivering at 4 am.

Lucky on the other hand had stopped vomiting thanks to the shot the doctor gave her yesterday but now it was coming out the other end. She was not interested in eating much.

I called the doctor and she said give each a medicine I had on hand and call her back if things didn't improve.

Once things settled down and they both went to sleep, I put a gate on the stairs so Happi could not go galavanting up and down and went to run a few errands.  Amongst other things I needed to get a shingles shot. There is a new shingles shot that is not a live vaccine. This means I can get it. I have had a fear that I would get shingles, I don't know why. I guess because a friend had shingles and it is no fun. Super painful.

I have been waiting for this shot for months because it is new everyone wants one. It is made for people who can not take the live vaccine. People who are immunosuppressed like me. I can't get on my new RA drug Xelganz until I get this shot.

I got a call a week ago from the pharmacy saying they found an extra and did I want it?  YES!  I decided a long weekend was the perfect time to get the shot because it has side effects.

First side effect is that the injection site hurts. Not just in the way a shot hurts but it feels like you had stiches kind of hurts. Fabric touching it hurts. Laying on it hurts. They tell you to ice it the first day and warm compresses after that.

Then the you will feel tired and have "flu like sypmtoms".  I felt tired pretty much right away. About 3 hours later. Of course I didn't sleep much the night before so that didn't help.

We will see how I feel tomorrow. My expectation is that I won't want to go anywhere but you never know.

Until tomorrow...

HAPPI IS HOME

Well, best laid plans. I thought while Happi is sleeping at the vets, I can get a good night's sleep. No such luck. Lucky continued vomiting from yesterday. She vomited all night. At 5:30am I got scared when it was a bit red.

At 7 am we were at the vets drop in. They checked her out and did x-rays on her stomach. She checked out.

I brought her home showered and went back to pick up Happi.

Happi is in a lot of pain and is moving very slowly and she is having a problem with stairs especially downstairs.  She is not very hungry and it is hard to pee. I can't pick her up because of her incision. Poor baby is miserable. She got an antibiotic shot that lasts for days and a numbness shot that lasts three days. She only has to take one pill.

Lucky is just being grouchy and doesn't want to eat either. I would say sympathetic pain but I doubt it with these two. Part of me wonders if it is her teeth hurting her.

Thank you to anyone who sent positive thoughts Happi's way.

Until tomorrow...

HAPPI IS OUT OF SURGERY

Early this morning I dropped Happi at the vet's office for her surgery. She is having her spleen removed to see if the tumor in it is benign or cancerous. Since Happi is almost 14 years old I am very worried about this surgery.

I spent the day working so I would not sit around worrying. I got the call right after lunch that she was out of surgery and had woken up. They were sending the spleen out for testing. The doctor also biopsied her intestines and stomach but we are holding off on sending those to be tested right now.

I was so relieved but still scared. I can't bring her home until tomorrow.

Meanwhile Lucky has been vomiting. I hope that is nothing big.

Until tomorrow...

QUITE A DAY

What a day!  I went to the dentist and got my teeth cleaned.  I was told that due to my 50 years of grinding and because I wore braces for years, my teeth now have gum recession.  This is not good and will cause me to need extensive work done in the near future.  Ugh.

Happi had a good day today.  She was playful and walked 6 blocks. She ate well and drank well.  She is sleeping now.  She went out at 8 pm and I heard a noise in the neighbor's backyard and there was a skunk!  The skunk was all flared out with his tail.  He was just walking around with his nose in the ground I guess looking for bugs or something.  I told Happi to hightail it back inside.  Last thing I needed was her to get sprayed right before her surgery.

I got a phone call from the house painter.  Now I have been waiting months to get my house painted.  I had certain things that needed to get completed before I could get it painted 1) fix the shingles that were broken, 2) fix my garage door, and 3) fix the electrical box outside my house.  It took me months to get it all done.  I finally got it all done and called the painter and he said October.  Today he called to say Friday he was going to come and powerwash the house.  One glitch: the City has dug up the street at the end of my street to replace the sewers on the entire street.  It is dusty, dirty, and big trucks are barreling down my block.  There is no parking.  We decided that it was not going to work.  The dust would get in the paint.  So, now I am waiting until the spring.  With everything else going on it is one less thing on my plate right now.

Tomorrow is Happi's surgery so please give her your positive thoughts!

Until tomorrow...

LAST DAY AT A CLIENTS OFFICE

Today was my last day at a client's office. My contract was done and the person I was covering for was back from maternity leave.  She was super nice and gave me an orchid to say thank you.

I spoke to the vet today. He wanted to make sure Happi was ready for surgery in two days.  He said it could not go forward if she was weak or not well.  Today she went on a slow 6 block walk.  She is now eating some kibble with her rice.  She ate two big meals.  He said unless she is not well we should do the surgery.

Until tomorrow...

QUICK TRIP TO SEE DOCTOR

I had a quick trip to see my primary doctor today.  It was an appointment to see him after my car accident.  He wanted to make sure I was not too injured.  He said yes my back was tweeked and my neck was screwed up and my chest was hurt from the seat belt.  Wow!  I diagnosed myself!

So the left side of my ribs in very bottom tip is very hurt.  Whether it is costocondritis or inflamed from the seat belt - hard to say.  But it hurts. My right side has weakness from my neck and back being tweeked.  I keep feeling pain down my right arm when I move my neck.

He is concerned that I had a concussion on 7/4 and then had the car accident where my head snapped back and forth three months later.  Not too good for the old brain.  The recovery rate gets slower each time.  I joked I might as well play football at this rate.

I got my TB blood test to prove I don't have TB.  I am allergic to the test so I can't get the regular TB tine test.

Pretty uneventful visit.

Until tomorrow...
