LIFE ALERT AND CLASSIC ROCK

Tonight I was watching or listening to the Classic Rock station on cable.  I turned around and there was an advertisement on the screen while the Rolling Stones were singing.  It was an advertisement for one of those emergency buttons, Life Alert.  I thought that was hysterical.  Since when is the classic rock station advertising Life Alert?  Are the Rolling Stones now marketing to people wearing Life Alert?  Does Keith Richards wear Life Alert?  I just thought it was funny.  Next the Rolling Stones will be providing the music for electric scooters, wheelchair lifts and Depends.

Until tomorrow...

  1. Well, you know, Mick Jagger IS in his 70s now. So maybe the Life Alert company isn't so far off in its advertising!

It's hysterical--and depressing! I heard on TV tonight that the Duran Duran band members are all in their late 50s and early 60s, too. Every time I see one of those guys on TV I think, WOW has he gotten old! And then I remember how old I am ... and I just have to laugh.

I think I'm aging well. But I'm not quite ready for Life Alert yet!
