I have the candy, I have the decorations, I am ready. I was going to dress up as Mary Poppins but now I am not sure. I am not going anywhere and I am just giving out candy.
Since I am only one of six houses on my street I sometimes have to coax the kids to come down the street. The street has 1 house that doesn't give out candy and turns their lights out, 1 abandoned house, 1 rental so I don't know what they will do, 1 house with an older couple who goes to spend it with their grand kids, 1 house that sometimes gives out candy and ME. The only holiday spirit.
