Tonight I made one of the cookies for the party. They are called
Roasted Almond Thumbprint cookies. They were pretty easy to assemble. Not too many steps. You mix the ingredients then roll the dough into balls. Roll the balls in sugar and put on a cookie sheet. Make a thumb print in each cookie. Put the cookie sheet in the oven. Bake for 13 minutes. When they are cool put preserves or lemon curd in the thumb print. Voila! Cute cookies.
Tomorrow night I will make the other cookies.
