Photo Challenge Part II picture of the day.
An art instillation at the airport.
First thing this morning I took Happi to the vets office. She was
supposed to get her antibiotic shot that was going to tide her over
until her vaginal rejuvenation. I joke. When I got to the office, they
took Happi in the back and the doctor came to speak to me. He got the
lab results back and Happi has no bacteria in her urine. So now the
question is does she have a UTI?
The lab results
showed that around her vulva she has an area that has a
bacteria-resistent infection. So now there is a question about doing
the procedure at all. Then there is some other stuff we discussed
including whether there is a possibility that Happi has a foxtail in her
vulva area. So the specialist is bringing a special instrument to
check for that. So at the moment, there is no specific plan but more of
a he is going to see once he checks for the foxtail.
Then
Happi will get an endoscopy to check her stomach. He thinks there is
practically no chance there is cancer since she has been ultrasounded a
number of times and is not showing symptoms but that is in the back of
my mind since my other Shiba Inu died of stomach cancer.
Since
all this occurred the vet decided that giving her an antibiotic shot
was not the best course of action right now. In fact I have to take her
off almost all her medications until surgery. It may be tough but we
can do it.
Then I went to pick up the bird from
boarding. They misplaced or lost his cage. It is a travel cage that I
use to take him back and forth from the shop. But finally we are all
home again.
I have a big project to finish that I didn't get to do during the wedding weekend. I may be up real late.
Until tomorrow...
