DO YOU HAVE STAPH? I DO!

I went to the doctor today and I showed him the red spots I had for the past few weeks. The spots have gotten better but I still have them. They don't itch or hurt. He said I have staph. Fabulous. He sent in a prescription for some topical cream. I am to see if that works and if it doesn't, I will have to take oral antibiotics. The doc said that going in the hot tub on vacation probably caused it or made it worse. Hot tubs are a bacterial wonderland. So maybe it wasn't the soap after all. I stopped going in the hot tub around the same time as when I stopped using the soap.

Then the doc looked at my alleged sinus infection. He said many docs don't treat sinus infections with antibiotics anymore. It is better to let the sinus infections run their course. He said the staph infection and sinus infection could be connected.

I am to monitor the situation and let the doc know how I feel in a week.

Poor Happi had another episode of shaking. We decided to give her a higher dose of medicine to make her sleep tonight. She just gets so rambunctious and we can't keep her still. She needs to stay calm and resting. Close to impossible with two dogs.
