Today was the after Bat Mitzvah brunch for family and friends. I was a bit late since my friend S was still at my hotel room. I had a hard time saying goodbye and I think she did too. We do not see each other enough since we are separated by an entire country. She is a huge help with child behavior questions since she is an art therapist.
In the evening it was my mother's 80th birthday party. It was at a very nice restaurant and all the family was there. I love it when all my two brothers and their kids get together. My cousins on my mothers side were there too. It is fun to catch up and reminisce. We all get along well.
